Viola, Manuel and Julian face each other and simultaneously never interact. One memory dissolves in to three memories, two dissolve in to one. A dream was perhaps a real event or was never remembered or was filtered by the lens of someone else. The characters behold each other, – they stand in each others gazes – within the parameters from and to their sightlines orignate and lead. They move in accordance to the moving of their counter-parts, being watched, watching and acting out the repressed memories of past lives.

stenplattor (2022)

site-specific performance for three people and one absent person,

script

‘Stenplattor’ was the title of a script and actions for a closed down Café Blå Porten in Stockholm – as well as for the distance between two points on a street in the same city during an afternoon on a different day. Three actors acted out a narrative based partly on the architecture and inherent movement trajectories of the courtyard and interior of the café, recollections about sleep-paralysis / out of body experiences, and with references to Anton Tjechov's play ‘Platonov’ – often refered to as his first play.
